A&J e-Edu Academy has awarded the Top Teacher and Student for the month of July after the completion of the monthly test.

As an English school in Baguio City, it is our responsibility to make sure that we are providing high quality of English education and also to guarantee the progress of students. With this being a huge consideration, one of the ways that the school does is to provide a monthly test. The said monthly test is usually conducted on the last week of the month, usually on the last Thursdays and Fridays of the month.

For students, they take a 2-part test. The first part of the test is held in the evening of Thursday from 7PM to 9PM. The test includes Grammar, Vocabulary, Reading, and Writing. And the second part of the test is conducted in the morning of Friday and follows the schedule of the students. Respective teachers will be conducting the Listening and Speaking test. The Speaking test will be recorded for a thorough examination of the students’ progress in this subject.

For teachers, they usually take their monthly test during their lunch breaks on Wednesdays or Thursdays. The contents of the test vary from grammar, reading, writing, listening, and even IELTS, TOEIC, or TOEFL. The academy makes sure that teachers are knowledgeable not only skillful on the different subjects or courses they teach. In addition to the monthly test, the overall score of the top performing teachers is also gauged on the students’ evaluation and their overall performance and attitude as teachers.

After the deliberation of the academic department, the top performing teachers and students will be announced at the Self-Study area of the school.

For the month of July, student Awwad, one of our Arab students bagged the Top performing student. He is awarded with a certificate and a cash prize. And for the teachers, teacher Jessa brought home the Top Performing teachers. Congratulations and applauses were evident during the awarding ceremony.

With this method, A&J e-Edu is not only able to gauge students’ progress and teachers’ performance but also create an atmosphere of healthy competition in the academy.
