A&J e-Edu Academy-Eco Campus celebrated its very first Christmas and Year End party last December 20. This date marked a history in A&J e-Edu Academy. Since its opening, A&J Eco Campus strive to be the best English school in Baguio City. And to celebrate its opening and its very first grand event, A&J prepared a feast for all students and staff.

The party started with an opening speech from the president, Andrew Yoon to officially open the party and welcome everyone. For the said event, the academy threw a Filipino themed party for the students to enjoy different games played during a Christmas party here in the Philippines. With that being said, all participants were divided into 8 groups in advance. The party kicked started with the groups’ chants to introduce themselves. After everyone’s introduction, the games began. It started with a drinking game followed by the classic Bring Me. After the said game, “Popping of Balloons” followed. This game’s goal is to protect your balloons from the opponents. It is a bit physical, so the school asked all men to represent their teams. After the said game, a famous parlor game in the Philippines followed which is Finding the coin. But instead of coin, the school asked the participants to find candies in a bowl of flour. Everyone definitely is still enjoying the games up to this time. After the said game, another game followed. The next one was The Boat is sinking where from 43 participants came down to 4. In between games, raffle draws were done and winners received prizes. The last game was really a classic Filipino game. It is called the longest line. All groups were asked to make the longest line using everything they have. Everyone did their best to make the longest line and only 1 group succeeded. Afterwards, all participants were asked to take a break and prepare for their final activity which is the team performance.

All teams performed at the camping area of the school. Some of them sing, some dance, and some made a comic skit. And the stand out among all performances that night was Team White who performed a Cultural Dance. Through this dance, the teachers were able to introduce to culture of Baguio City to all students.

After all the performances, everyone was asked to head to the Dining hall for dinner. A sumptuous dinner was served for all students. And everyone chatted and enjoyed the feast prepared by the school.

After dinner, the announcement of winners was held. The 2^nd placer received a cash prize of 3,000Php. The 1^st placer received a cash prize of 5,000Php. All non-winners received gift certificates from cafes and restaurants in Baguio as consolation prizes. The Grand Champion received a cash prize amounting to 10,000Php. Everyone celebrated during this part of the party. We ended the party with the Exchanging of Gifts. All students and staff received their gifts from those who got their names.

The party was truly historic as it was not only the first but it was also the grandest in the history of A&J e-Edu Academy.
