From the months of June to Aust, many students coming from different countries wanting to study and improve their English skills have been arriving to different English schools in Baguio. These months are considered the ‘Peak Season’ for English schools in Baguio. Some students want to improve their foundation skills, most especially their speaking. And others want to learn and strengthen their test taking skills for IELTS, TOEIC, and TOEFL. With this being said, A&J e-Edu Academy has welcomed a lot of students coming from various ages having different goals.

At A&J e-Edu Academy, almost all new students arrive on Sundays thru a pick-up or some come to the academy via bus. On the day of their arrival, they are brought to their designated rooms to rest and unpack their things. Sunday is also their free time to check the academy. However, on Mondays, new students start their academy journey by taking a placement test. The placement test includes a Grammar, Reading, Listening, and Speaking test. These tests determines their levels for the academy to provide the appropriate classes and books. After taking the test, a facility tour takes place to introduce the academy. Afterwards, an orientation is conducted by managers to discuss the different policies of school. Through the said orientation, students will be aware of the Dos and the Don’ts of the school.

After the morning activities, students together with their managers go to the city center specifically SM Mall. They are brought to the city center to also give them the experience and the know-how where and how to go to the downtown area of Baguio City. In SM Mall, they buy their necessities such as tissue roll, shampoo, slippers, etc. They also purchase Philippine sim card which is beneficial for them in using data. Moreover, they also take photos in SM that is required for processing students SSP. Special Study Permit also known as SSP is required for all tourist to have when they study in different English schools in Baguio. Aside from that, students tour around the downtown area before coming back to the academy.

Upon their return to the academy, students are brought to the academic office for paying the local fees and also the release of their study materials and schedules. Once everything is completed, students are ready to start studying. All new students start their classes on Tuesdays.
